Intern Description

At FaithWorks Media, we believe that video production is one of the most powerful forms of storytelling. We are looking for technical and creative students to capture and edit high-quality video footage for various purposes, such as events and documentaries. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of current video recording equipment, video editing software and will value timeliness, diligence, and excellence on every project from start to finish. You'll have the opportunity to intern with a hybrid schedule and also receive student awards based on project performance!

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate professional video cameras and audio equipment to capture high-quality video footage.

• Edit raw footage into a cohesive and visually appealing final video.

• Enhance the visual aesthetics of videos through color correction and grading.

• Edit and mix audio tracks, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects.

• Work closely with the director to understand the desired vision of the project and incorporate feedback into the production process.

• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and collaborate with other crew members to ensure a cohesive production

Skills & Qualifications

• Working knowledge or proficiency in video editing software programs (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.).

• Creative storytelling skills and a strong visual sense

• Technical knowledge and attention to detail

• Collaboration and Communication Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues

• Commitment to improving video production skills

Interns will learn how

• To prepare for a video shoot or event production

• To use best camera angles and movements to capture cinematic b-roll

• To work effectively with a production team while on set

• To achieve clean edits and seamless sequencing

• To combine creative video and audio elements together to enhance projects
